Elena Elena Case is a Certified Ashtanga and a Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor who has studied yoga since 1988. Elena also holds and Advanced Yoga Teacher Certification in Pregnancy Yoga. Elena’s additional certifications include Ashtanga Primary and Intermediate Series, Children’s Yoga, Raja Ashtanga Yoga, Neo Tantra and Spiritual Counseling. There are additional certifications and degrees but Elena draws primarily from Ashtanga, Bikram, Kripalu Yoga Traditions. She has studied Viniyoga and Iyengar Yoga, as well as Ayurveda. She is a Reverend (Minister) and follows the principles that one's spiritual practice is individual. has a BA and MS and has traveled extensively. She draws from her experience in each style and feels that each path has its own unique gifts to offer. She has a strong knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology. Elena provides you with a thorough physical workout to strengthen your body, while maintaining the deeply spiritual aspects of yoga, following the key principles of the yogic path. Elena’s teaches mixed levels (beginner through advanced), where students are encouraged to work at their own pace. Elena is a Member of KYTA (Kripalu Yoga Teacher's Association), NYA (National Yoga Alliance), and was Co-President of the Massachusetts Yoga Network, where she did Seva (selfless service) to support the yoga community. Elena is an extremely popular instructor at health clubs and yoga studios in the area, and has appeared on television numerous times to discuss yoga. Elena had to restrict her travels and television appearances due to personal responsibilities for a time. She has now regrouped her energies and shall continue on the path of sharing the healing gifts of yoga through travels and television appearances

Ashtanga Vinyasa Varying Levels: Introduction to Ashtanga (for beginners who prefer a dynamic style), Ashtanga Primary Series (the original power yoga), Intermediate Series (for advanced students) Power Yoga – a heated blend of Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Bikram Yoga Kripalu Yoga for Beginner through Advanced levels, Kripalu Stage 2 Yoga (stage 3 for those who experience Meditation in Motion). Excellent for beginners to yoga Specialty Styles: Yoga for Menopause, Children’s Yoga, Partner Yoga, Pregnancy (pre-natal) Yoga, Baby and Me Yoga, Yoga for Anixiety/Addiction/Depression. Mindfulness: 30 minute Meditation classes using Tonglen, Vipassana and Metta Meditation Philosophy of Yoga: “What’s behind all this?” a 4 week session covering Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and Modern Applications, the koshas (layers to peel through), basic principles of Buddhism and The 8 Fold Path – step by step to enlightenment. Enlightenment is not just for the rare few – it is for all of us. Buddha means “one who is awake” 4 Week Discussion Groups: For those who would like to gather and discuss the Bhaghavad Ghita, Hatha Yoga Pradipka, and selected Vedas. On request we add a session on Hindu Deities and what they represent. Corporate Classes and Private Sessions available. Elena, an all-around athlete, has been involved in many sports. She is certified to teach Kickboxing, CardioJam Group Fitness, Aerobics, Sculpting and has participated in running, biking, skiing, swimming, rafting, martial arts, soccer and hiking. She is former Captain of Women’s Soccer and of Women’s Track&Field, and went to State Championships for each (winning in Soccer).
